He was predeceased by: his father Roy Pearson Burris. He is survived by: his wife Linda Davis Burris; and his children, Scot David Burris (Shelly) of New Castle, IN., Cameron Davis Burris (Rachel) of Southern Pines and Tonya Lyn Burris Wollum (Steve) of Cary. He is also survived by twelve grandchildren.
