Koon and Patsy Eller Koon; his significant other Penny Jo Hill Koon; his children, Derek Koon (Ashlyn) and Shannon Koon; his grandchildren, Kelli, Jessica, Nick, Skylette, Maverick and Clay; his great grandchild Tré; his siblings, Steve, Elana Hand (Dell) and Lori Shannonhouse (Don); his friend Bill Leavitt; his son Nickolas D. Koon; and his brother David L. Koon.
Visitation was held on Saturday, February 15th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Hayworth-Miller Silas Creek Chapel (3315 Silas Creek Pkwy, Winston-Salem, NC 27103).
