He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Samuel Wade and Ella Gray Armsworthy Furches; his wife Billye Jo Furches; his siblings, Jean Smith and Sam Furches; his daughter Theresa Furches; his grandchildren, Brian Alex Blackman, Molly Blackman Brown and Elizabeth Blackman; his great grandchildren, Grayson Brown and Anderson Brown; and his sister Nancy Blaylock. He was also cherished by numerous nieces and nephews.
