She is survived by: her husband Roger L. Hayes of Clemmons; her sons, Harold Dean Brewer (Rena) and Samuel Todd Brewer; her grandchildren, Josh Brewer and Ben Brewer; and her sister Betty Sheppard of Greensboro.
In Lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Calvary Baptist Church or the Hospice and Palliative Care Center of Winston-Salem.
