He was predeceased by: his parents, Omar Dodson and Kathleen Goss Dodson. He is survived by: his husband Keith Hastings; his sister Eleanor Carpenter (Jack); his mother-in-law Blanche Hastings; his sisters-in-law, Susan White (Tim) and Cathy Smith (L. C.); his nieces and nephews, David Carpenter (Shana), Deborah Cupitt (Maury), Kimberly Nelson (Roger), Ashley Wilson (Chris), Graham White, Sydney Hege and Dylan Hege; and his great-nieces and great-nephews, Patrick Carpenter, Elizabeth Carpenter and Ashton Edwards.
