She was predeceased by: her parents, Leo George Matz and Bernice Wright Motts; her husband Johnnie Spivey; and her aunt Sue Walker. She is survived by: her children, Denise (Roy), Dawn and Jay; and her grandchildren, Hailey, Nicole and Riley.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to ASPCA, PO.
