She was predeceased by: her parents, Thomas Morgan and Opal Neaves; her husband Raymond H. Parks; her daughter Vickie Lynn Parks; and her brothers, Thomas Neaves (Jack) and Kit Neaves.
She is survived by: her son Raymond H. Parks Jr. (Beth); her grandchildren, Meredith Moore (Brian) and Morgan Parks (Ashley); her sister Mildred Anderson (Smith); her son Ray; her daughter-in-law Beth; and her grandchildren-in-law, Brian and Ashley.
In remembrance of Merril's life, the family asks in lieu of flowers, a memorial contribution can be made to Samaritan's Purse or the American Diabetes Association.
