He was predeceased by: his parents, David William Hodges and Pearl Bowen Hodges; and his brother Larry L. Hodges. He is survived by: his wife Carolyn Hill Hodges; his daughters, Evonne H. Galloway (Greg) of Kannapolis, NC and Terri H. Fortune (Eric) of Wake Forest, NC; his grandchildren, Alicia Galloway of Kannapolis, NC, Ethan Fortune of Wake Forest, NC and Carly Fortune of Wake Forest, NC; and his siblings, Richard D. Hodges of Raleigh, NC and Darlene Osborne (Vernon) of Winston-Salem. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials be made to Ardmore Baptist Church Youth Ministry or Handicrafters Ministry, 501 Miller St., Winston-Salem, NC 27103.
