She is survived by: her children, Mother Margaret Lyons Sampson of Welcome, NC, Evangelist Sandra Laureano (Alfredo) of Statesville, NC, Vice Bishop Stanley Transou (Co-Pastor Lady) and Deacon Grant Transou (Evangelist Tammy); and her siblings, Reverend Jesse Lyons, Jr. of Westbury, NY, James Lyons of Salisbury, NC and Della Williams of Mocksville, NC. She is also survived by grandchildren, great grandchildren, great- great grandchildren, other relatives and friends.
Viewing was held on Friday, January 3rd 2025 from 1:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Russell Funeral Home (822 Carl Russell Ave, Winston-Salem, NC 27101). Visitation was held on Saturday, January 4th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Goodwill Baptist Church (541 Goodwill Rd, Clemmons, NC 27012). A funeral service was held on Saturday, January 4th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
