Maggie Watkins Obituary

With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Maggie Watkins of Clemmons, North Carolina, who passed away on April 16, 2021 at the age of 91. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Clarence Howard and Pansy Howard; her former husband Thomas Thornhill Watkins; her siblings, Eloise Myers, Casper Howard, Peggy Muto, JoAnn Douthit and Travis Howard; and her close friend William "Bill" Snyder.

She is survived by: her sister Brenda Howard Weiss; her sister-in-law LaVale Howard; her great-nieces, Kristi Douthit-Brandon and Jodi Douthit; and her children, Triston, Owen, Miley-Grace Brandon and Skyler Schmidt. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made in her name to: Williams Adult Day Center, 231 Melrose Street, Winston-Salem, NC 27103.
