She was predeceased by: her parents, Alvie Eugene Templeton and Lillian Odell Keith; her husband Fred Wood; and her brother Tommy Templeton. She is survived by: her daughters, Rainbow, Kimberly Nicole Wood of Clemmons and Kelly Wood Potts of Pfafftown; her brother David Templeton (Fern) of Morristown, TN; her niece Tammie Hart (Boyd) of Kernersville, NC.; her daughter Heaven; and also, Matthew and Love.

Visitation was held on Saturday, January 11th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Frank Vogler & Sons (2849 Middlebrook Dr, Clemmons, NC 27012). A celebration of life was held on Sunday, January 12th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Olivet Moravian Church (2205 Olivet Church Rd, Winston-Salem, NC 27106).
