We are sad to announce that on July 1, 2023, at the age of 79, Linda Katherine Bolen (Clemmons, North Carolina), born in Rural Hall, North Carolina passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Wilmer Griffin and Addie Wood Griffin; her siblings, Richard Griffin, Anne Slate and Regina Huffman; her son-in-law David Johnson; and her stepson James Bolen.

She is survived by: her husband Jim Bolen; her children, Angie Johnson, Cherie Hill and Michael Hendrix; her stepdaughter Connie Wood; her grandchildren, Brooke Spillman (Michael), Joel Johnson, Kaila Bauberger, Michael Hendrix, Jr., Dillian Wood and Brendan Wood; her great grandchildren, Piper Johnson and Sawyer Spillman; and her siblings, Larry Griffin, Sandra Fay Lowry and Pamela Royal. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
