It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Laverne Lakey Foster (Clemmons, North Carolina), born in Bono, Arkansas, who passed away on April 6, 2020, at the age of 94, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, George Lakey and Elsie Lakey; her husband Raymond L. Foster; and her children, Ken L. Foster of Oxford and Debra Foster Shaw of Winston-Salem.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to any of the various Alzheimers Associations or to a library of one's choice.
