He is survived by: his children, Lawrence Provost of Winston Salem, Linda Provost of Winston Salem, Christine Provost of Raleigh, NC and Susan Heiss (Steve) of Winston-Salem; his grandchildren, Gregory Laurence Provost, Gabrielle Heiss and Erin Provost; and his great grandchildren, Kayleigh, Payton and Haydden Austin.
