He was predeceased by: his parents, James William Pegram and Edith Boger Pegram. He is survived by: his wife Shirley Cleary Pegram; his daughter Sheri Renee Pegram; and his niece Stacy C. Rich (Joe, family: Melissa, Ronald Beck, Amanda, Gregg Lambert, Hilda A. Priddy, Roby, Ann Cleary, Jerry, Cynthia Cleary). He is also survived by family.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to First Christian Church of Clemmons, 6131 Frye Bridge Rd. Clemmons, NC 27012.
