As we bid farewell to this cherished soul, solace is taken in the memories held dear — the laughter shared, the wisdom imparted, the moments of quiet reflection in their presence. Though Joseph Thomas may no longer walk among us, his spirit lives on in the echoes of his kindness, the warmth of his embrace, and the light of his enduring love.
He was predeceased by: his daughter Mary Hofmann Murphy. He is survived by: his wife Regina; and his children, Kathy Benson (Greg), Joanne Nodecker (John), Mike Kelly (Katie), Tom Kelly (Laura) and Jean Waters (Jerry). He is also survived by 12 grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
A funeral Mass was held on Friday, January 10th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Holy Family Catholic Church (4820 Kinnamon Rd, Winston-Salem, NC 27103). A celebration of life was held on Friday, January 10th 2025 from 12:30 PM to 2:30 PM at the Salem Glen Country Club (1000 Glen Day Dr, Clemmons, NC 27012).
