She was predeceased by: her parents, Elizabeth Woods Hess and Howard E. Hess. She is survived by: her husband Alex Stefanowicz; her siblings, Betty Lou Berberich of Port Orange, FL. and Howard Hess of Bluffton, SC.; and her nieces and nephews, Linda Berberich Caruso of Port Orange, FL, Patricia Hess Miller of Bluffton, SC, Erin Hess of Atlanta, GA, Steven Berberich of Port Orange, FL and Christopher Hess of Okatie, SC..
