He is survived by: his daughter Elizabeth Azmi; his grandson Jacob Lunt; his brother Kent Blackwelder (Denise); and his brother-in-law Steve Somers (Donna).
A celebration of life was held on Saturday, March 29th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Rose Chapel Methodist Church (813 Turnersburg Hwy, Statesville, NC 28625).
