It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Jeanette Christie (Clemmons, North Carolina), born in Winston Salem, North Carolina, who passed away on April 9, 2022, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Clarence Jackson and Frances Shadrick Jackson; and her sister Loretta Tampoya. She is survived by: her husband John Christie; her children, Sharon Ressa (Paul), Lynn Christie and Joseph Christie; her sisters, Jackie Hardt (Jim) and Carole DiBuono; her grandchildren, Cheryl (Christopher), Adam (Sally) and Jonathon (Annie); her great grandchildren, Abram, Patrick, Henry, Finley, Ellianna and Charlotte; and her sister-in-law Marie Christie Thornburg.
