He is survived by: his wife Bernadine "Bernie" Carson Furches; his sons, James "Jamey" Ralph Furches of Clemmons and Howard Mebane Furches (Deanne) of Booneville, NC; his stepson Michael Ross Springston (David Roten) of Apex; his siblings, Sarah Furches Hauser, Jean Furches Baumgardner and Richard Furches (Susan); his granddaughter Madalyn "Maddie" Faith Furches (Corey Ireland); his stepgrandson James Lambert; his sister-in-law Jeannie Furches; his niece Julia Furches Odell; his friend Lynn Rutledge; and his pet Charlie.
