We are sad to announce that on December 13, 2020, at the age of 87, James Cullom Day Jr. (Clemmons, North Carolina), born in Winston Salem, North Carolina passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, James Cullom Day, Sr. and Virginia Lewellyn Day; and his brother-in-law Frank Richard Hartley. He is survived by: his wife Peggy; his children, Garry Day (Anne) of Clemmons and Jennifer Day Walston (John) of Indian Trail, NC.; his grandsons, Patrick Day (Ashley), Thomas Day (Carla), Trip Walston and James Walston; his stepgrandchildren, Jessie, Emily and Ben Connor; and his siblings-in-law, Ray Hartley (Martha) and Judy Hartley. He is also survived by two great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Trinity Moravian Church, 220 E. Sprague Street, Winston-Salem, NC 27127.
