He was predeceased by: his parents, Ernest Doub and Flora Doub (Warner); his siblings, Frances Doub Myers and Jimmie Doub; his former wife Metzel Binkley Doub; his wife Juanita Penfield Doub; his daughter Pamela Essex; and his grandson Beau Carter.
He is survived by: his daughters, Marcia Holt (Eugene) and Karen Snyder (Lyle) of Nashville, TN; and his grandchildren, Adam Anders (Amy) of Nashville, Bethany Sanders and Nickolas Barnes (Leigh Ann) of Nashville, TN. He is also survived by seven great grandchildren; two great great grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
