He was predeceased by: his parents, Broughton Pilcher and Elizabeth Pilcher; and his sister Margaret Pilcher. He is survived by: his wife Janice; his daughters, Ellen Grooms and Lori Bennett; his grandchildren, Nathan Lyon, Allison Lyon, Gabrielle Holland (Matthew) and Carigan Bennett; his sister Judy Williard (Mike); his niece Cameron Hogg (John); and his great-nephews, Peter and Silas Hogg.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Clemmons Moravian Church or the Shriners Children's Hospital.
