He was predeceased by: his parents, George Barry Chappell and Nell Prine Hammond. He is survived by: his wife Jeannetti Faye Woosley Chappell; his nephew Tyler Woosley of Lexington; and his siblings, Stephen D. Chappell, Denise Moorman (Buddy) of Ocala, FL, John McLeod (Kelly) and Mike Chappell (Kim).
