He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Effie Lee Harding Robinson and Leon Talmadge Robinson; his grandfather Dr. T. R. Harding; his brother Thomas E. Robinson; his children, Joby (Janet), Jim, Jane (Greg) and Betty (Alex); the mother of his children Daphne Campbell Robinson; and his grandsons, Benjamin Mueller and Joel Black IV.
The family is requesting that any memorials be made to The Huntsville Historic Preservation Society, 5205 Courtney Huntsville Road, Yadkinville, NC 27055.
