She was predeceased by: her parents, William Edd Darby and Dixie Jewel McAllister Darby; and her siblings, Carolyn Medlin and Richard Darby. She is survived by: her husband Dewey Boyce Edwards, Jr.; her children, Lisa Cranfill (Jeff), Melissa Avent and Dewey Edwards III (Jodi); her grandchildren, Mitchell Avent (Maggie), Darby Avent and Lily Edwards; her great grandchild Samuel Avent; her nieces, Dani Darby and Wendy Barber; and her nephew Chip Darby.
