She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles Cleveland Smithdeal, Sr. and Gladys Pfaff Smithdeal; her husband John H. Deans; her grandchildren, Chris Brewer and Amy Chaney; and her brothers, C. C. Smithdeal, Jr. and Richard Smithdeal.
She is survived by: her daughter Sandra McCallie (Ralph); and her grandchildren, Keith Brewer (Regina), Joy Pace (Billy) and Carma McCallie (Mike Kimbell). She is also survived by seven great grandchildren; and many other family members and friends.
