She is survived by: her parent Mozelle Brown Rucker; her son Ernest Kelton Houston; her siblings, Nathaniel "Skip" Brown (Ruth), Frank "Ike" Brown, Joe Rucker (Elizabeth), Charles Rucker (Mary), James Rucker, Grace Pearl Young (Albertus), Mildred Young and Mae Speaks (Ruben); her daughter-in-law Wyomia O'Neal Houston; her children, Lonnie Houston (Mary) of Clemmons, John Wesley Houston (Landa) of Clemmons, James Milton Houston of Clemmons, Debara Sharon Long of Statesville and Grace Katrina Smith of Cornelius; her siblings-in-law, Haskell Young of Raleigh and Amanda Brown of Salisbury; her son Harvis Mathis (Hattie) of South Carolina; her grandchildren, Sharon Culbreath (Leonard), Andrea King (Tyrell), Cheree Houston, Marvin Stanley, Darnell Stanley, John Houston, Jr., Brandon Jamar Houston, Edward Long, Brandy Jackson, Lindsey Jackson and Paige Jackson; and also, Sally Shipp, Cassandra Howell, Beverly Gray, LaChay Wilkins and Barbara Ann Saddler. She is also survived by 13 great grandchildren; extended family and friends.
