She is survived by: her parents, Clarence Saintsing and Annie Craven Saintsing; her children, David (Linda), Kevin (Ruthie) and Anne (Steve); and her grandchildren, Mary Claire, Michaela Claire, Anna Claire, Seth and Joe. She is also survived by her five brothers (Raeford, Nub, Buck, Bobby, and Jimmy) and two sisters.
In the last decade of her life, Dot lived with Alzheimer's disease.
