She was predeceased by: her parents, Dirah Martin and Blake Martin; and her brother Derick Martin. She is survived by: her husband Minister Derrick L. Burnell; her children, Desmond Burnell and Diamond Burnell; her nieces, Dirah S. Martin, Dierra Martin, Aniyah-Nicole, Dierre Martin and De'Coya Martin; her stepchildren, Shanisha Walker (Milford) and Derrick L. Burnell, II; her aunt Linda Williams (Dallas); her uncles, Jerry Wilkins (Audrey), Benjamin Jones and Apostle Theophilus Jones (Apostle Valarie); her mother-in-law Barbara Burnell; her sister-in-law Tasha Burnell; and her cousins, Latia Williams (Ferrell) and Trevie Butler.
