He was predeceased by: his parents, Raymond Hemrick and Edna Hemrick of Mt Airy, NC.; and his brothers, Ray, Gary and Pete Hemrick.
He is survived by: his children, Mark Hemrick (Karrie) of Pfafftown, Chris Hemrick (Lara) of Denver, NC and Brooke Parrish of Clemmons; his grandchildren, Jesse, Jon, Austin, Tess and Tate; and his nieces, Lee and Edie.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in David's honor may be made to the Ronald McDonald House of Winston-Salem, 419 South Hawthorne Road, Winston-Salem, NC 27103.
