He was predeceased by: his mother Joan Shenk Kauffman. He is survived by: his father Marlin Kauffman; his wife Nikki Kauffman; his children, Caleb Horn (Bri), Carly Kauffman and Hunter Kauffman; and his sisters, Leigh Hjaltalin (Jan), Shay Kauffman, Joni Logatto (Gil), Rebecca Clark (Robert), Elizabeth Panepinto (Adam), Emily Bailey (Greg) and Ami Phillips (Nathaniel). He is also survived by several nieces, nephews.

“Tom and I are deeply saddened by the news of Brad's passing. Serving with him for the many years at The Church of Grace and Peace was always a blessing. Serenading each other with "I Love You With an Everlasting Love" always brought a smile to our faces and warm thoughts of Brad. I'm so glad he found his love, Nikki, because he so desired to be the husband ... the bridegroom in Song of Solomon. We know we will sing together again in the Olam Haba. Our mitzvot is Brad's merit.
