He was loved and cherished by many people including: his spouse Dorothy Reeves Gainey; his sons, Stephen Ray Gainey (Lynn) and David Jay Gainey; his granddaughter Allison Gainey Steding (Joel); and his siblings-in-law, David Reeves (Loretta) and Sylvia Parrish.
