She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Clora Lowe Doby and Bina Doby; her husband Jack Higgins; her sister Mary Doby Bingham; and her sons, Brent Jackson Higgins and Adam Doby Higgins (Jamie).
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Clemmons Fire Department, which her family was very involved with.
