She was predeceased by: her sister Vera Davis Walser; her parent Hazel Davis Leonard; and her nephew Rodney Walser. She is survived by: her husband Mike Hege; her children, Neil Hege (Ann) of Clemmons and Marsha Essick (Dustin) of High Point; her granddaughters, Morgan Hege, Reese Essick, Baleigh Hege and Grasyn Essick; her brother Craig Leonard (Ellen); her nephew Coleman Leonard (Kailey); her siblings-in-law, Ralph Walser and Linda Leonard; and her nieces, Amy Leonard and Tina Ledford.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to Good Hope Methodist Church, Trellis Supportive Care, the Alzheimer's Association, or the charity of the donor's choice.
