She was loved and cherished by many people including: her father John Swartz; her husband Russ; her daughters, Sarah Blackburn of Clemmons and Laura Vroom of New York City; her mother Maggie Swartz of Clemmons; her sister Rebecca Lovalvo of Redding; her son-in-law George Blackburn; her siblings-in-law, Dave Lovalvo and Kym Stendahl of Newtown, CT.; and her nieces, Alyssa and Kelly Stendahl.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made at Komen.org.
