It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Audrey Anne Merritt of Clemmons, North Carolina, who passed away on June 4, 2022, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Clyde Raymond Gallagher and Margaret Allen Faircloth; her husband James Robert Merritt; her son Mark Allen Laster; and her son-in-law Daniel Hill.
She is survived by: her children, Gary Laster (Susan) of East Bend, Anne Shropshire (David) of Winston Salem and Cathy Hill of Kernersville; and her stepchildren, Mike Merriett (Christel) of Spruce Pines and Cindy Stacy of Kernersville. She is also survived by seven grandchildren; and thirteen great grandchildren.
