She was predeceased by: her parents, Odie Benton and Gertrude Short Jewell; and her daughter-in-law Cynthia Fouts Gimbert. She is survived by: her husband Nelson Cole Gimbert; and her sons, Hunter Gimbert of Pfafftown and Peyton Gimbert (Kirsten) of Charlotte. She is also survived by five grandchildren; and one great-granddaughter.
A celebration of life was held on Friday, January 10th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Frank Vogler & Sons Funeral Home (2849 Middlebrook Dr, Clemmons, NC 27012).
