He is survived by: his wife Joyce Ray; his children, Nancy Platts of Knightdale, NC and Courtney Ray of Raleigh, NC; and his siblings, Cora McMillan (Mary Parker), Dwight Ray of Raleigh, NC, Dwayne Ray of Raleigh, NC and Michael Ray of Raleigh, NC. He is also survived by 4 Grandchildren.
