He was predeceased by: his parents, William R. Hartsfield, Sr. and Jo Ann Brantley Hartsfield; his son William R. Hartsfield, III; and his sister Ronda Parrish. He is survived by: his wife Janet F. Hartsfield; his son Brandon Ennis; his uncle Johnny Hartsfield (Terry); his aunts, Peggy Carwell and Frances Smith; his nephew Cody Parrish; and his nieces, Amanda Stewart (Donnie) and Sarah Parrish.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, April 16th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the HopeFront Church (8246 Cleveland Rd, Clayton, NC 27520). A memorial service was held on Wednesday, April 16th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
