It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Violet Mooneyham Stevens (Clayton, North Carolina), who passed away on May 16, 2019, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband Herbert E. Stevens; and her siblings, Elsie Benson, Evelyn Jones and Willard Mooneyham. She is survived by: her daughters, Tonia Stevens of Clayton and Vonda Lindsay (Robert) of Clayton; her grandchildren, Tyler Lindsay and Nash Lindsay; her sisters, Mable Howard of Clayton and Dorothy Boykin of Zebulon; and her nephew Anthony Jones of Benson. She is also survived by nieces, nephews and extended family.
