We are sad to announce that on March 5, 2024, at the age of 91, Viola Jane Parrish (Clayton, North Carolina) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Lonnie Wheeler and Emmie Norris Wheeler; her husband Rudolph Parrish; and her siblings, Jodie Wheeler, David Wheeler and Bettie Ellis.

She is survived by: her children, Barbara Barbour (Gerald) of Clayton, Danny Parrish (Mary) of Goldsboro and Bonnie Dawkins (Mike) of Apex; her brother Dewey Edward Wheeler of Chapel Hill; and her grandchildren, Amy Phelps, Roger Parrish, Lynn Stone (Jared), Emily Taylor, Katie King (Matt), Alexis Phelps, Holly Bennett and Michael Whitt (Janna). She is also survived by 15 great grandchildren and 4 great-great grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Mount Calvary Baptist Church 5217 Barber Mill Rd. Clayton, NC 27520.
