He was predeceased by: his parents, James Arthur Buell and Marie Soltesz Buell; and his sister Linda Tilley. He is survived by: his wife Patty Buell; his children, Chris Buell (Kristen) of Raleigh, James Buell (Rose) of Clayton and Katie Peralta (Josue) of Wilson; his sister Susan King (Woody) of Warrenton; and his stepmother Ruth Buell. He is also survived by five grandchildren.
