We are sad to announce that on February 22, 2023, at the age of 79, Thurman William Ross Jr. of Clayton, North Carolina, born in Smithfield, North Carolina passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his father Thurman William Ross. He is survived by: his son Thurman William Ross III (Allison); his granddaughters, Emme Louise Ross (Evan Wallace Ross) and Ellis Elizabeth Ross of New York City; his brother Timothy Aubrey Ross (Ann) of Clayton; his nephews, Cory Aubrey Ross and Travis Allen Ross; and his niece Myra Lassiter Brown.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Wounded Warriors Project, Paralyzed Veterans of America, or your favorite charity.
