He was predeceased by: his parents, T. Russell Carroll and Kathleen B. Carroll; and his brother Robert "Bob" Carroll. He is survived by: his wife Joan Mize; his children, Katherine C. Raynor (Brian) and Russell Carroll; his grandchildren, Faith Raynor and Ayden Raynor; and his nephew Grayson Carroll.

Due to COVID-19 face coverings are required during the graveside service as well as observing current social distancing guidelines as recommended by the CDC.
