It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Sharon Anne Evans (Clayton, North Carolina), born in Tuscola, Michigan, who passed away on September 17, 2023, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Cecil U. Brown and Mary Burt Brown; and her siblings, Ruth Jean Quinn, Mary Kay McDonald, Ken Brown and Elaine Bell.

She is survived by: her husband James Stewart Evans; her children, Brenda Mautz (James) of Erwin, NC and Brian Evans (Kristen) of Clayton, NC; her grandchildren, Michael Kintner, Scott Kintner, Angel Evans and Abigail Evans; and her great grandchild Elias Evans. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and close friends.
