It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Sandra Carpenter Klinger (Clayton, North Carolina), born in Columbus, Ohio, who passed away on May 20, 2021, at the age of 79, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Marie Wilson and Robert H. Carpenter Sr.; her stepfather Arthur Slover; her siblings, Collen Goodart and Robert Carpenter Jr.; and her son-in-law Henry L. Smith Sr. (Marlin A. Klinger).
She is survived by: her children, David A. Klinger (Karen) of Apex, Tammie K. Smith of Smithfield, Betty Houck of Tiffin, Jacqueline Woerz (Gary D. Woerz) of The Woodlands, Katherine A. Klinger of Raleigh and Jennifer S. Edwards (Jonathan) of Smithfield; her grandson Jonathan D. Klinger (Kaley Shields) of Raleigh; and her great grandchildren, Luke H. Edwards of Smithfield and Maverick J. Klinger of Raleigh.
