She was predeceased by: her parents, Ralph Barbour and Lola Blizard Barbour; her husband Joseph B. Moore; her siblings, Jackie Johnson, Norwood Barbour, Billy Barbour, Chester Barbour, David Barbour, Ralph Barbour, Jr. and James Barbour; her great great grandchild Lincoln Moore; and her daughter-in-law Jean Moore.

She is survived by: her children, Brenda Thornton of Clayton, Carolyn Moore of Clayton, Larry Moore (LaVern) of Kenly, Donnie Moore (Faye) of Garner and Tim Moore of Mt. Olive; and her sister Frances Monds of Clayton. She is also survived by 10 grandchildren, 18 great grandchildren and 6 great-great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
