He was predeceased by: his parents, Paul T. Jennings and Marie Elizabeth Henley Jennings; and his brother John B. Jennings. He is survived by: his wife Jeanne Bahl Jennings; his daughters, Christa Donnelly and Colleen Jennings; his grandchildren, Samantha Nowicki, Carolyn Maier, Ben Donnelly, Emily Donnelly and Mary Kathryn Pardoe; his great grandchildren, Leia Buettner, Emmett Buettner and Camden Maier; and his siblings, Ann Jones, Edward Jennings, Thomas Jennings, James Jennings, David Jennings, Richard Jennings and Ronald Jennings.

A reception was held on Thursday, April 10th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Chapel of McLaurin Funeral Home (12830 US 70 Business Hwy W, Clayton, NC 27520). A memorial service was held on Thursday, April 10th 2025 at the same location.
