He was predeceased by: his parents, Andrew Jackson Hollomon and Mary Elizabeth "Bettie" Cox Hollomon; and his siblings, Sallie Mae Holloman Martin, Milton Andrew Holloman, Mildred Louise Holloman Devoe and Katie Estelle Hollomon Glisson.
He is survived by: his wife Carol Martin Holloman; his children, Robin H. Cross (David) and Robert F. Holloman Jr.; his grandchildren, Chase G. DeVaney (Brittney), Austin A. Cross (Meghan), Aaron D. Cross, Elizabeth C. Cross and Ethan D. Cross; his great grandchildren, Alayna G. DeVaney, Grayson J. DeVaney, Forrest C. F. Cross and Aurora L. Cross; and his sister-in-law Janice M. Turner. He is also survived by many nephews and nieces.
Visitation was held on Sunday, February 16th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Chapel of McLaurin Funeral Home (12830 US 70 Business Hwy W, Clayton, NC 27520). A funeral service was held on Sunday, February 16th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
